Genesis 17: 17 & 19 say: “Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, ‘Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?’ 19 Then God said: ‘No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac….’”
Today everyone wants to be great but not everyone wants to go through God’s process. God’s process matters; it will help you maintain the result you get from Him. If the process you go through is not in line with the ways of God, the result will not stand the test of time. If you ignore the process and focus only on the result, you may likely not have the patience to differentiate between God’s supply and satan’s bait. To become God’s person, you must follow His process. God wants us to prosper in all areas; He does not want us to succeed only financially while losing ourselves to conditions.
It is in the mind of God to answer prayers even when He seems not to respond immediately to our petitions. So, if you are following the right process and seem not to be getting results, don’t get discouraged; God is preparing you for something greater than what you want. All you need to do is to be patient and wait upon the Lord, Who will not leave you without a solution. Those that laugh at you for your patience will testify about your result.
PRAYER: O Holy Spirit, help me to follow Your process, in Jesus’ name! Amen!
