“Emmanuel! Emmanuel!! Emmanuel!!! I am Dr Nizoloman Nabhel ODUAL, a lecturer with the Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. I was asking for international funding for my PhD from my institution from 2010 until November 2012 when I first visited SCOAN Lagos. While I was still in SCOAN, I got the approval for the funding from my institution, but by then my international PhD admission had elapsed. I came again to SCOAN in March 2013 and I got the admission from Aberystwyth University, UK shortly afterwards. I then travelled to the UK on 8th February 2014.

“With God’s intervention, I had a nice supervisory team that took my PhD study as their personal project by giving me all the needed both academic and non-academic assistance, encouragement and support throughout my study. On my own part, every day I pray along with Senior Prophet T. B. Joshua. In school, the first thing I do as soon as I entered my office is to turn on Emmanuel TV on my computer and say a short prayer while I do the research with my laptop. Within the period of my study, I visited SOAN and got the touch of the Man of God once every year (June 2015, November 2016, May 2017).

“I submitted my thesis for oral examination (defence) on the 15th January 2018 and I, my wife and daughter attended the 27th January 2018 Birmingham New Morning Water Service where a copy of my PhD thesis was anointed. On the day of my oral defence, I sprayed myself with the Morning Water and prayed with my Faith Bracelet before I entered my defence hall. My defence turned out to be a nice, smooth and quick one. I was given 6 months to do my corrections but I used only two weeks to correct the minor typing errors and I was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy in Education on 25th May 2018. The journey was not easy but with God’s hand in it, I overcame all challenges. Once again, to God be the glory!”
