Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

The Bible explains that everyone God created has their own measure of strength. We may not be equally gifted, but one thing is clear; God designed it in such a way that everyone has some strength to contribute. What is your strength? Your strength could be money, talent, love. Whatever area you are strong in, that is what the Lord will use to bless others through you.

We are one another’s strength. No one can succeed alone, we need good people, informed and inspired people to make it in our respective callings. How do you use your strength to improve the lives of those around you? Many of us today come around people for selfish, classic and material reasons. We keep company with some people only because of what we can get from them and not what we can contribute. Don’t come around people because of what you can get alone but also because of what you can give.

How can you know your strength? Whatever you consistently do that uplifts you and others around you is your strength. You just need self-examination to discover this strength and build it, so as to contribute positively to the lives of others and the society of which you are a part. God Almighty cherishes our little efforts towards contributing positively to the lives of others, if it comes from the heart. So, wherever your strength lies, use it genuinely to contribute positively to the lives of those around you, your society and the world at large.

Prayer: Oh Holy Spirit, give me the strength needed for the tasks you want done, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
