When an earthquake struck the nation of Ecuador in April 2016, thousands of miles away in Lagos, Nigeria, the distressing images of devastation wrought by the natural disaster weighed heavily on T.B. Joshua’s heart. Compassion spoke and the Emmanuel TV Ecuador Earthquake Relief Team was born!
One of many projects embarked on was the restoration of the Juan Lorenzo Añapa Educational Complex – a facility almost completely destroyed by the quake. Today, hundreds of Ecuadorian children in the Chachi indigenous village of San Salvador are preparing to return back to school in fully refurbished classrooms – thanks to the generous support of Emmanuel TV Partners worldwide.
