As a Christian, what are you going through? That you are a Christian does not mean that you are ‘out of touch’. Remember, in John 16:33, Jesus said, “In this world, there will be tribulation; cheer up - I have overcome". Also, in the book of Luke 22:31-32, Jesus said, “I pray that your faith will not fail.” This means that there will be some factors or issues that will challenge your faith. This means, as a Christian, what you are going through serves a useful purpose:
a) To form and strengthen your character
b) To prepare you for eternal glory that lies ahead

True believers feel strong while facing challenges because they know that personal improvement and fulfilment come through the continual process of learning from both negative and positive experiences. As believers, we understand that when times are stable and the sea is calm and secure, no one is really tested. True faith thrives on trials; they are the soil in which faith flourishes (Job 23:10).
