As a child of God in the world of men, you are bound to be attacked, rejected and hated. Fear not, for God can use any foolish thing to release you into your divine future. The Book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-10 makes us understand that life is in stages: A time to be born, a time to grow and a time to face persecution. Each stage serves a purpose. As a Christian, our values must be tested against facts and experiences. This is the only way we can identify those who are genuinely sincere in their relationship with God.

Our Lord Jesus Christ passed the test and the Anointing began to flow proving that persecution is a tonic to the anointing. When you are persecuted, count it all joy for your chance of victory is at hand. We must not think it strange if some of our best friends avoid us and there is no one to run to. Have you been framed by your colleagues in the office and finally given a sack letter or have you been handed a divorce letter or quit notice to get out of your apartment? Don’t despair, the end has not come; the best is always yet to come for you as a Christian.

Those who are rich in every sense of the Word understand that life is a learning experience. We are to reign with Him when the goings are good and when they are tough. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was constantly misjudged but He was not discouraged knowing that being misjudged is the last stage before supernatural promotion. The persecution we suffer at the hands of our detractors causes us to be known all over the world. Indeed, man’s rejection provokes God’s direction. When man rejects you, God will start to direct you. You with God are majority.

Prayer: Oh Holy Spirit, help me to see the rejection I face in the light of God’s Word, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
