1 Peter 2:21 says, “For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example that you should follow His steps.”
Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, was crushed, tortured, humiliated, dehumanised and brutally murdered for our sake. He responded with forgiveness, knowing that His death on the Cross would accomplish salvation for all humankind. Of all graces, faith honours Christ the most; therefore, to get our prayers answered, we must depend entirely on the merits and meditations of our Lord Jesus Christ as the only ground for any claim.
What is your burden? Are you suffering? Are you in pain? Remember the promise of victory to all Christians in 1 Corinthians 10:13. In this text, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, tells us that there will be troubles, but He also promises to see us through them. As Christians, one thing is clear: God Almighty places us where it pleases Him, and where God guides, He provides. No matter what comes, no matter what happens, keep your solid front by trusting in Christ’s suffering. By trusting in Christ’s suffering, the crown of life is as sure for you as if it were already upon your head.
DECLARATION: I believe and accept what the Lord Jesus Christ has done for me. He died for me, reigns in power for me and still prays for me; therefore, sin’s power over me is broken!
