As men and women of faith, who look beyond (whose focus is beyond) the natural, we have something to be happy about. We have a reason to be joyful. What a God we have to worship; what a Son we have to praise; what a future lies before us. What a hope we have in Jesus! The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes. Prophet T.B. Joshua said that the design of the Gospel is to break the yoke of satan, thus removing the guilt of sin. In other words, the Gospel is fashioned to transform your life and give you a wonderful new beginning. That Gospel is the sword of the Spirit that makes satan to flee.
Many people today have surrendered to their fears while their hearts dream of miracles, going by the happenings around the world today – people being afflicted with sicknesses and diseases, homes being broken by infidelity, companies being closed down by lack of trust and misappropriation of funds and others. Are you in such a situation? The way out is to express the necessary trust in Christ Jesus. Never for a moment assume that God’s ability cannot put you over. Champions of faith throughout history had to express the necessary trust in God to experience His power. Whatever your background may have been, whatever your upbringing may have been, wherever you are coming from – one thing is certain: once we express the necessary trust in Christ Jesus, His duty will be to raise us from death to life and then to restore our wholeness and fellowship with God.
Prayer: Oh Holy Spirit, help me to trust you even when every sense contradicts you.
