The Book of James 1:2 – 3 says, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.”

As Christians, we may have challenges, but our challenges are not like others’, they are meant to strengthen our desire and determination for God. True believers greet challenges as friends because they know the value in challenges. That situation that looks impossible, there is value in it because there can be no promotion without examination. A true believer does not listen to the panic of the moment but must find the quiet voice of counsel of the Holy Spirit.

Challenges are meant to connect you to the future you desire. When we listen to the Holy Spirit, He will protect us from the pitfalls of the enemy. The value in challenges is meant to help explore possibilities making us look deeper because when times are stable and the sea is calm, no one is really tested. Apply yourself to your work and duty as a Christian soldier. Begin to see the value in your challenges and you will be connected to the future you desire in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, free my heart to follow You, give me wisdom to know Your truth.
