“And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.” (Acts 13:22)
In our hearts, we are made to be like Jesus. Are you a man or woman after God’s own heart? When you are a man after God’s own heart you will have a ‘hugged’ heart with God; your heart will agree in relationship with God. If your heart agrees in relationship with God, what is seen, what is heard, whatever may happen, will not affect your relationship with Him.
As a Christian, you may not always get it right but always remember that God loves you and values your relationship; you are His temple – where His Holy Spirit dwells.
We are known by our fruits. Only our character can testify to our confession of Christ. To be like Jesus, we must live in Him. To become God’s person, a Christian, born-again, you must be remoulded. It is essential to serve God with a willing heart, for the love of the heart is the only genuine principle from which a genuine relationship with the Lord can spring.
You are a work of art. The Holy Spirit wants to be Lord of your life so that you will no longer be in command of the little vessel in which you sail. Are you ready for Him?
